Homemade Carpet Fresheners

DIY carpet fresheners are frequently viewed as superior to commercial options due to their exclusion of potentially harmful substances present in store-bought products. This provides a more natural and customizable approach for neutralizing odors and adding fragrance. Utilizing everyday ingredients such as baking soda allows you to manage the components for a safer setting for both children and pets, and you can customize the scent to fit your liking
Items You'll Need -
Baking Soda– Baking soda is utilized in this carpet freshener due to its ability to absorb odors, efficiently removing unpleasant scents from the carpet.
Essential Oil– I chose chamomile. Ensure that if you have pets, your essential oil is safe for them.
A jar with a lid that you can poke holes in. I use a canning lid and make holes using a nail and hammer. This is a good way to use old canning lids.

How to Prepare-
Fill a half pint mason jar 3/4 full with baking soda.
Add a 10 drops of essential oil and stir well.
How to Use -
Sprinkle on the carpet and vacuum afterward. If the scent is too light, you can always add more to the jar.
